The app
Puzli collects nothing about your child. There are no accounts to make, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
It never asks for the camera, the microphone, your location or your contacts. The stories are already on this iPad, and they play without the internet.
A purchase goes through Apple’s App Store, and Apple handles the payment. To know which packs this iPad has bought, Puzli uses one other company, RevenueCat. When Puzli opens, and when a pack is bought or restored, RevenueCat receives the purchase record, a random number that stands for this copy of Puzli, the identifier Apple gives our apps on this iPad, and the iPad’s model, system version, language and App Store country. It never receives a name, an email address or a card, and nothing about what your child plays.
Everything else Puzli remembers, it remembers on this iPad alone, and deleting the app deletes it. The record of a purchase stays with Apple and RevenueCat, so that Restore can find it again on another iPad.
What stays on this iPad
- Which stories have been played, so the forest opens where a child left it.
- Which packs have been unlocked on this iPad.
- RevenueCat’s copy of the purchases, so an unlocked pack opens without the internet.
- The sound switches in Settings.
- Whether the opening has played, so it plays once.
- Which forest is home, and whether it is night there.
- A request made in the iPad’s own Settings app to clear the list above next time Puzli opens.
